2006 Lance Lite 845 w/Gen

Mineral Wash (interior)
Purchased Used Spring 2007

Floor Plan

Progressive Dynamics Intelli-Power
PDI - PD9245

IMO a great Converter/Charger
Has - Boost, Normal, Storage, & Desulfation
charge wizard modes. The key is "Storage"
mode helps prevent boiling off so much water!

Same model I would have purchased
if it was something less optimal!

Made screen sliders for ventilation on both side bed access doors.
Back-Up Camera

This under $100 wireless is simple and easy.
Power to camera is from marker lights.
Nothing to disconnect or connect from truck to camper.
Picked it up at Wal-Mart

Tips for wireless camera stability:

1) Don’t use the supplied tap connectors for camera (make a good splice).
2) Choose a source that gives a solid full 12v.

Stability seems to be very relative to camera input voltage (low 11v is not good).

Camper related truck stuff!

Camper came with AC Delco Voyager M27MF
Working quite well so far for 3 day camping trips.

Loading/Unloading

I put a line down center of bed mat to line up with a tab of tape center on camper bottom.
To keep these lined up while backing I use a rear view camera.
The camera is attached to a stick to reach center cab and a magnet holds it in position.

Disconnect shore AC, Raise TC, Connect Camera, back under, unplug camera,
plug camper in, lower TC, lock down, insert ball stinger, backup to trailer & connect,
step inside TC to set fridge on 12v, lock-up, Pop mirrors out on a
walk around check and ready to roll in about 15 minutes.
Unload takes about the same time.

1st time was perfect with not nearly as much beginners luck
the next couple times... One shot quick & easy with the camera.

Add 5min for SuperTruss if needed.

Campers viewed new & used, hard & soft side:

lance, snowy river, bigfoot, northern lite, sun-lite, outfitter, citation, fleetwood,
alpenlite, arctic fox, okanagan, travel lite, s&s, host, eagle cap, palomino
Wanted low profile, SC, Gen. and liked a rear bumper skirt look.
SB truck, limited selections as it seemed most were for LB.
