To the Basin!

Quite the F150 pull!
A 90's afternoon and down the freeway at water temps only kicking on 1 fan a couple times (204).
Though most of the time the AC was on so the high temp fan pretty much stayed running.
On the last stretch up the mountain I stopped a few times to let the tranny cool.
Got some bad slip out of it on this trip!
I think these slow 4x4 low climbs like this the tranny cooler could use an fan of its own!
But now I think a long term fix is simply a different truck!

to the right of Sunday hill.

Mine Not mapped by name
Farther up the road is 3 cabins
Very recent activity (near fresh wild flowers)
The lone rose!
I would guess there were people holed up here!
One of the doors wasn't locked and ...
A watching eye?
This area gave the creeps!

Back down around Sunday Hill

Another unmarked mine ...
couldn't be all that old due to a leach pond with rubber lining just below.

I'll be coming back here to this spot! ...
All done and heading back home!
